Former Ontario Christian High School standout Luke Ballantyne helped his current college squad, the Biola Eagles, capture a 15-10 victory against the Concordia Irvine Golden Eagles in Friday’s NCAA Division II baseball meeting that started at 5:30 p.m.
The contest was held at Golden Eagles Field and marked the teams’ second meeting this season. In their previous matchup on Friday, March 13, the Eagles had lost to the Golden Eagles by a score of 12-5.
Ballantyne gave up five earned runs across four innings while issuing three walks and collecting three strikeouts.
The Eagles are set for their next game against Concordia Irvine Golden Eagles on Saturday, March 14, at 1 p.m. at Golden Eagles Field.
