Etiwanda alum Amare Campbell to play in NCAA Division II men’s basketball tournament

Amare Campbell, a former Etiwanda High School star now playing for the Cal State East Bay Pioneers, has earned a spot in the NCAA Division II men’s basketball tournament.

The Pioneers secured the top seed in the bracket and will face the No. 8 seed Humboldt State Lumberjacks in their opening matchup.

Tipoff for the first-round game is set for Friday, March 13 at 7:30 p.m. at Pioneer Gymnasium.
