On Saturday, May 17, former Alta Loma High School standout Garret Halbeisen’s current collegiate team the La Verne Leopards lost 1-2 against the Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens in the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship.

The game took place at Ben Hines Field at 3:30 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens in the tournament.

The La Verne Leopards’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 3:30 p.m. at Ben Hines Field.
