On Saturday, March 29, former Chino Hills High School standout Maria Luna’s current college team, the Western Illinois Leathernecks, won 8-7 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the UT Martin Skyhawks.

The game took place at Mary Ellen McKee Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Skyhawks this season.

The Leathernecks’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 1 at 5 p.m. at Eichelberger Field against Illinois Fighting Illini.
