On Sunday, April 13, former Chino Hills High School standout Maria Luna’s current college team, the Western Illinois Leathernecks, lost 4-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Lindenwood Lions.

The game took place at Lou Brock Sports Complex. This was their third matchup against the Lions this season.

The Leathernecks’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 16 at 2 p.m. at Mary Ellen McKee Stadium against Kansas City Roos.
