On Saturday, April 12, former Chino Hills High School standout Kayla Chavez’s current college team, the Minnesota Golden Gophers, lost 5-4 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Oregon Ducks.

The game took place at Jane Sage Cowles Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Ducks this season.

The Golden Gophers’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 13 at 12 p.m. at Jane Sage Cowles Stadium against Oregon Ducks.
