On Saturday, March 29, former Etiwanda High School standout Ava Nunez’s current college team, the CSU Pueblo ThunderWolves, won 3-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Colorado Mesa Mavericks.

The game took place at CMU Softball Field. This was their second matchup against the Mavericks this season.

The ThunderWolves’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 30 at 11 a.m. at CMU Softball Field against Colorado Mesa Mavericks.
