Former Los Osos High School player and current Cal Poly Pomona Broncos right handed pitcher, Aren Alvarez, will compete in the NCAA D2 Baseball Championship Tournament.

They begin the tournament as a number four seed against the fifth seeded Cal State San Marcos Cougars.

The first game is on Thursday, May 16.
