On Tuesday, April 1, former Chino Hills High School standout Lana Tellez’s current college team, the Valparaiso Beacons, won 15-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the UIC Flames.

The game took place at Flames Field. This was their second matchup against the Flames this season.

The Beacons’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 5 at 11 a.m. at Petersen Hotels Field against Bradley Braves.
