Lyla Gonzalez, a standout from Chino Hills High School now playing for the UNLV Rebels, contributed to her team’s 7-2 victory over the North Dakota State Bison in an NCAA Division I softball contest held Friday, March 6, at 8 p.m.
The teams met at Eller Media Stadium for their first meeting of the season.
Gonzalez tallied one hit in three trips to the plate, scoring a run and driving in two.
The Rebels are set to face North Dakota State Bison again Saturday, March 7, at 8 p.m. at Eller Media Stadium.
